Our SEC-registered Philippines arm, Integridad: Heart for Detainees needs a replacement finance officer for our exciting residential and clinical base in the centre of the City of Olongapo.

Job description

YOUR Hours

  • This role is three-fifths of full-time - that is, three days per week.

YOUR Duties

  • Access: welcoming office visitors

  • Assistant: providing office support for our Operations Manager and Medical Director

  • Bills: paying bills

  • Bookings: taking bookings for our residential and training facilities

  • Book-keeping: maintaining accurate financial records, both on paper (as legally necessary for Integridad: Heart for Detainees as a SEC-registered organization) and digitally on Xero (for Integridad as well as our paperless UK-registered sister-organization, Integritas Healthcare CIC)

  • Budget: assisting our Treasurers in setting and complying with our annual budgets

  • Cash management: maintaining our office cash tins

  • Deputizing: when necessary, deputizing for our Operations Manager in the leadership of our non-clinical team

  • E-correspondence: answering our email and social media correspondence

  • Fundraising: assisting our Treasurers with fundraising initiatives

  • General administration: duties including filing, laminating and scanning

  • Human resources: managing our personnel files

  • Invoicing: invoicing clients

  • Inventorising: maintaining our inventories including our medicines management system

  • Other: timely completion of other suitable tasks, allocated at daily meeting

  • Phone: answering our office phone

  • Security: setting alarm system every evening

  • Supplies: buying office and medical supplies

  • Team meeting: attending daily team meeting and weekly team devotion

  • Trustee: for an appropriate candidate, representing our administrative staff as an ordinary member of our Board of Trustees

YOUR EXPECTATIONS

  • Salary: depending upon experience, up to P15,000 per month full-time equivalent (FTE) - that is, P9.000 per month

  • Annual leave: ten days per year FTE - that is, six days per year; we also observe all public holidays and award the statutory amount of pay for working on them, which is required on days when residents are present

  • Appraisal: supportive appraisal process

Experience, knowledge, Qualifications & Skills

  • Essential

    • Ability to acquire the necessary skills to use an online inventory

    • Excellent standard of spoken & written English in addition to fluent Tagalog

    • Excellent all-round office administrator

    • Fluency in Xero accounting software

    Desirable

    • Driver

    • Experience of using an online inventory

    • Experience of working within a healthcare facility

    • Languages: working knowledge of an additional language

OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
