Jeff works as a consultant old age psychiatrist in North Yorkshire. He utilises his healthcare service governance experience to lead us.

Outside of medicine, he is a Star Wars enthusiast who is active within his local community and church. And he and his wife have their hands full with teenage daughters.

Dr Alexander ‘Xander’ Cary

Xander is a family medicine trainee in York. Enthusiastic about addressing health inequalities, he spent six months in a rural Christian missionary hospital in East Africa. And he is interested in deprivation medicine including offender healthcare and substance misuse.

Outside of medicine, he loves spending time with his wife, sailing, picnics and getting stuck in at his local church.

Mrs Sarah Rhodes

Sarah runs Aspire Accountancy School based in York. She loves helping local people gain life and career opportunities through achieving qualifications in accountancy.

She uses her professional background to support us as we reflect God’s love and justice through pioneering work in offender healthcare.

To relax, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr Mark Pickering

A family medicine specialist, who spent years leading prison medicine in Doncaster, Mark is now leads Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) in London. He still keeps his hand in clinical medicine though, working in forensic psychiatric hospitals and locuming within London prisons.

One of our co-founders along with his wife Rachael, he is particularly proud of their daughter Zoe who has Asperger's Syndrome and works for us part-time. And outside of work he enjoys community gardening and difficult jigsaw puzzles.

Dr Alexander ‘Alex’ Bunn

Alex is the lead doctor and associate medical director at a large male prison in London. After undergraduate training at Cambridge and Oxford, he undertook internal medicine, tropical disease and then family medicine postgraduate training. For many years he also worked part-time for the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF).

Outside of medicine he enjoys cooking and cats and is learning to play the ukulele.

David is a consultant physician for older age adults at a South London hospital.

He has research interests in frailty and swallowing, chairing the United Kingdom Swallow Research Group (UKSRG). And he is editor of the journal Triple Helix,

Outside of medicine he umpires hockey games and cycles long distance.

Amy is a family medicine specialist in Yorkshire. Passionate about improving access to healthcare, she spent a year volunteering in low & middle income countries including working for us in the Philippines.

Outside of medicine, she loves being part of her local church family and being creative with art & craft projects.

Dr Melody Redman

Melody is a clinical genetics registrar with a background in clinical academic paediatrics. She is an elected member of the British Medical Association Junior Doctors Committee and Board of Science, and she is a faculty member of the Healthcare Leadership Academy.

And outside of work, she likes doing park runs and spending time with her husband.

Dr Nandi Mnyama

A former member of our UK office staff, Nandi is a junior doctor in Hull. Originally hailing from Zimbabwe, she moved to the United Kingdom as a teenager and trained at the Hull York Medical School. She has an interest in medical politics and champions inclusion and diversity issues.

Outside of medicine, she likes tennis and board games.
