We provide short-term training for student and junior healthcare professionals. (If they stay beyond three months, we consider them staff.) Here are our about-to-start and current trainees.

On-the-Job Trainees

In typical Philippines style, our cohorts of On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) come to us at very short notice throughout the year.

Here are our second batch of 2026 trainees, being awarded certificates at the end of their CPR training day.

Casey Gerlach

Casey is a final year medical student from the USA who will be serving with us in the New Year.

She grew up reading missionary biographies. And she has decided to become a doctor because she wants to have a specific skill with which to serve people in need.

She’s looking forward to meeting new people, learning about their lives, and watching God move.

A fun fact about her is that she loves ballroom dancing and has even worked as a ballroom instructor!
