Short-term volunteers

The majority of our short-term unpaid personnel are official trainees on placements of one kind or another. Periodically though, other people - be they healthcare professionals or lay people - give up their time simply to volunteer with us for a few weeks. (If they stay beyond three months, we consider them staff.)

Dr Rebekah Hübner

Rebekah is a young German doctor with a heart for detainees.

She will be spending her summer volunteering with us, prior to commencing formal post-graduate training back in Germany with the aim of becoming a family medicine specialist.
