Gifts
Christmas
What do you think about at this time of year? Perhaps the long lists of gifts you need to buy, organising the family get together, or just hunkering down and avoiding the madness. For Christians, Christmas is when we celebrate God giving us a gift - Jesus Christ. He really did love everyone including the seemingly unlovable.
Integritas
At Integritas Healthcare, we are motivated by Jesus’ command love our neighbours as ourselves. We have particular concern for the almost 12 million of our fellow human beings behind bars around the world. Many of these people are kept in terrible conditions, without adequate food or healthcare and do not know when they will next see their loved ones. Regardless of their past actions, we believe they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
Presents
Like many other charities and other non-government organisations (NGOs), the pandemic took a massive toll on us. We lost all of our regular funding. But with God’s help, through a small number of regular donors who came to our aid, we have been able to continue our field work - though money remains extremely tight. We are always looking for new regular donors.
But then this summer our Philippines team suffered a fresh blow when its ancient team van/patient ambulance died. We urgently need to replace it. A donation of any size would be so gratefully received. Then we will be able to give our detained patients a wonderful Christmas present - a replacement ambulance.
This article was first written by one of our fellows in 2020. We have given it a refresh for our Christmas 2025 appeal.

On hearing this, Jesus said, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but those who are ill.
