International Mother Earth Day
Our detainees don’t get SUPs for supper!
Our planet is groaning. Nature is suffering. Extreme heat, wildfires and floods have affected millions of people.
We need to recover our ecosystems. The healthier they are, the healthier we are! But we will only succeed if everyone plays a part.
One of the biggest problems in the Philippines, where we have a clinical base, is the ocean being filled with single use plastic (SUP). Pledging to minimise use of SUPs is an aspect of climate change action that everyone and every organisation can do.
And so, on International Mother Earth Day, we are proud to showcase the eco-friendly nature of our detainee feeding programme.
